Step onto Hedge Hill Farm and into the world of Preppy Kitchen as John Kanell invites you into his kitchen for a day of hands-on cooking demonstrations and a shared meal. Over 100 acres nestled in the Litchfield Hills of northwest Connecticut, Hedge Hill Farm sits atop a hill offering expansive views of the surrounding land and serves as the setting for Preppy Kitchen.

The day begins with a welcome treat and a short walk through the kitchen gardens where you can enjoy views of the rolling hills. Then we’ll head into the kitchen, tie on our aprons, and learn how to make dishes from John’s new unreleased cookbook Preppy Kitchen Super Easy. During the class, we will prepare two dishes to enjoy at a family-style meal while also learning some of John’s best tips and cooking techniques for creating special dishes in your own home. With a class size of no more than 16 guests, you will have an immersive and unique experience learning from John’s culinary expertise. 

Once the cooking is done, lunch will be served at a handsomely set table for us to enjoy our meal together. The class will be taught before my book is released to the public on August 20th, so each guest will get an exclusive peek at the book. I hope you’ll join me!
